In May 2023, after having a routine mammogram 3 months early because the voice in my head said not to wait, I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Stage 1. Breast Cancer. Fortunately, it was caught early and my prognosis is excellent.

I knew there was a reason why, and that reason came to me at three o’clock in the morning two weeks after surgery. I needed to write a book about my experience.
